Teresa ReddishI am happy to join the Nickajack Braves as part of the Advanced Learning team! I have been a gifted specialist with Cobb County for twelve years, earning my Ed.S. in Educational Psychology, Gifted and Creative Education from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!!) I have a true passion for gifted education and have had the privilege of serving as a Gifted Lead Teacher, as well as Gifted Endorsement Instructor here in Cobb. In 2015, I had the dual honor of being the recipient of the Mary Frasier Equity & Excellence Award by the Georgia Association for Gifted Children (GAGC), as well as the A. Harry Passow Award for excellence in teaching gifted students by the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC). Presently I am the Chair-elect of the Early Childhood Network for NAGC and the metro-area representative for GAGC.
Away from school, my husband and I are the proud parents of three great kids, and “puppy-parents” to a Schnoodle named Darby. I love to read, travel and cook! I’m thrilled to begin this new journey at the home of the Braves! |
Dana ZhunMy name is Dana Zhun, and this is my 24th year in education. During this period, I’ve taught Kindergarten through college levels. Additionally I’ve served Cobb County as a Literary Specialist and an Educational Consultant. This is my fourth year at Nickajack Elementary as a Gifted Specialist. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my three children. Isabella is a starting college at The University of North Georgia, Matthew is a Sophomore at Harrison High School, and Lillie is a 7th grader at Lost Mountain Middle School. This past summer I began my Specialist degree in Instructional Technology. I look forward to partnering with you this year!

I am a busy mom with three beautiful daughters, a husband, and a dog! This is my 21st year in education, my fourth year as a gifted specialist, and my second year at Nickajack! I have worked for the Cobb County School District teaching elementary and middle school students in special education, regular and gifted education. During my career, I have also worked as a preschool director, a math consultant, an academic lead teacher/coach, and an assistant principal. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to be returning to Nickajack and working with your children! Currently, I am a part-time Target teacher for second graders at the 'Jack.
